This branding project was created for the Duluth folk band, The Roadside Lupines. As an ongoing collaboration, the identity continues to evolve alongside the band as they grow and define their sound. Drawing inspiration from their name and the rugged beauty of Minnesota's North Shore, I developed a flexible visual identity system that reflects both their roots and their music.
The brand features a simple yet adaptable logo system, an earthy color palette, thoughtfully selected typography, and supporting graphic elements inspired by native lupine wildflowers and the natural landscapes the band calls home. The goal was to create a visual presence that feels authentic, approachable, and timeless while providing the flexibility needed to support future albums, merchandise, promotional materials, and live performances. This project demonstrates how a strong brand foundation can grow organically, creating a cohesive and recognizable identity that remains true to the band's story.
